Black Electroless Nickel

Components are electroless nickel plated then blackened. This gives a metallic brown/black appearance. The coating is used for a variety of applications ranging from color identification to eye appeal. The black coating also doubles the contact resistance, but does not change the other properties of the electroless nickel plating. Typical thickness is .00075”.
