GILES MILLER STUDIO WINS 2015 RETAIL INTERIOR SURFACE AWARD


At the 2015 Surface Design Awards, Giles Miller Studio was awarded the Retail Interior Surface Award for the design of their metal tile in Dublin’s International Airport. Dynacast partnered with Giles Miller Studio on the design, and manufactured the tiles using a unique idea that combined die casting, surface finishing, and a chamfered face to create Giles Miller Studio’s vision. 

Using zinc with a brass surface finish, Dynacast was able to produce a tile that met Giles Miller Studios need for a silky, smooth, chocolate-y feel while still being able to withstand the wear and tear of a busy airport. Download our case study to learn more about the process that took these tiles from an idea to an award winning interior surface.Congratulations to Giles Miller Studio!
