DYNACAST is the world leader in the die casting industry, located in 2722 Weikersdorf am Steinfelde. We produce die castings from zinc, magnesium & aluminum alloys for all industries.

To strengthen our European sales team we are looking for a

 

Business Development Manager (m/w/d)

 

Key Responsibilities:

Drive for Execution and Results

  • Build an effective pipeline of opportunities working on Named Regional account in Eastern Europe that will help Dynacast to achieve sales goals and quotas

  • Execute each phase of the sales process in order to engage with prospects, develop stakeholders, create value-add solutions, and deliver business opportunities to the customer and to Dynacast

  • Engage engineering teams to participate in early product development and design and critical stakeholders to serve as a champion within the prospect account

Knowledge of Potential Solutions

  • Use knowledge of Dynacast products and services – and customer industry trends – to uncover customer needs and to create value-based solutions
  • Convey technical ideas to influence prospect decision criteria and to position Dynacast as a differentiated solution provider
  • Demonstrate deep industry, technical, and global company knowledge to ensure opportunity fit
  • Track prospect engagement and opportunity development by logging information in Salesforce CRM

Prospect Engagement & Organizational Fit

  • Build and leverage prospect account relationships throughout the buying and selling process
  • Use effective questioning to quickly determine project fit and alignment to Dynacast’ capabilities
  • Create business opportunities through value-based selling actions and by engaging prospects with defensible proof points
  • Work as a team member to drive the sales opportunity by orchestrating internal and external resources

 

Qualifications:

  • Able to develop consultative relationships with customers and partners to fully understand needs and identify opportunities
  • New business sales focus – can conduct research and use business knowledge (or existing network of relationships) to create business opportunities to grow Dynacast
  • Demonstrated "hunter" mentality for finding, developing, and delivering new business
  • Motivated by success in building new relationship, delivering new business, and exceeding customer needs
  • 5-10 years related experience in selling
  • Fluent English speaker
  • German and Eastern Europe Language of advantage
  • HPDC or similar Process experience welcome

 

KPIs:

Pursuit Account Growth & Expansion

  • Incremental sales ($) generated (Y-o-Y growth, % of target)
  • New relationships / divisions engaged with resulting RFQs

Prospect Qualification & Conversion

  • Leads to Qualified Prospects (strike rate %)
  • Prospects to RFQs / Opportunities to Close (strike rate %)

Opportunity Quality

  • Size of Opportunity Won / Lost (average, total)
  • Pipeline of Opportunity Created / Closed (average, total)
