Dynacast Tooling Division (DTD) is a full service tooling center with a 21,000 square foot facility, 20 toolmakers, and 3 Design Engineers. DTD has over 30 years of expertise in multi-slide tooling. DTD strives to offer the fastest lead-times in the industry for new tooling, repairs, and revisions. DTD uses state of the art equipment and software to build the best tooling possible right out of the box. DTD also is accustom to dealing with large strategic projects involving 20+ tools for Dynacast globally.
DTD engineers create complete tooling designs in 3D using the latest version of Pro-Engineer. DTD utilizes Magma to perform complete thermal and flow simulation giving the optimum tooling possible. DTD uses Mastercam and Work NC for creating cavity detail right from the 3D data. DTD also offers the latest welding capability for quick and accurate repairs and revisions that will not be detrimental to tool life.
